# Weather Files

Climate based daylight modeling (CBDM) requires weather files to perform its simulations. Right now, Groundhog allows using any EPW weather file you want. They are usually obtained from the [EnergyPlus weather section](http://www.energyplus.net/weather).

For using them, you just need to select it from the "Location" tab in the Design Assistant.
